First of all, this blog is not going to be about Australia or New Zealand, if you want to see pictures of that travel, please go to my flickr or my tumblr.
Today was another jetlagged-filled day. I am just so lacking energy and it really frustrates me, because the couple of weeks are going to be really busy. (I am going to try and do three months worth of study in two weeks.) I am still a bit confused about being back home, it's like I never went away or something like that, my brain hasn't quite figured it out just yet.
While I was away, the weather in the Netherlands was quite lovely (of course) and my mother's garden turned into this magical place.
(Most of these pictures are SOOC, infact all of them except the dyptich).
I love the random things you can find, like this yellow car.
I actually used this jar somewhere in my 365.
I just love the colours:)
These are the cutest little flowers ever:)
Don't you just love the colours here ?
This one actually reminds me of another picture, but I can't remember which one, and that is really frustrating.
I love the fact that there are fruit and veggies and herbs everywhere, it makes the garden so much more special, being able to just grab a snack while you are on the way to your bike or something.
They are everywhere, and I remember that they just to be my favourite flower when I was a child. Nowadays, my favourite flower is lavender. I just love the purpleness and the smell:)
And more:)
Poppies:) We have orange ones in our garden:)
Butterflies <3
The one and only 'El Tigre', also known as Tijgertje (Tigger in Dutch). She is the funniest and smartest girl ever:)
xoxo
( I promise I will make some proper posts later on)

Back home
(I know the title of this blog is a song from Yellowcard. It is actually one of my favourite songs ever.)
Hi!!!!
I am back in Holland. I can't imagine how fast the last two months went, it is ridiculous. It is as if it never happened or something. I guess it is the jetlag. I am too tired to write now anyway, so I'll just post some pictures. (Some have been posted before, I know)

Sorrrry
Hi everyone,
Sorry that is been a while since my last post, and yes I am still alive.
I am currently in Australia, Coff's Harbour to be exact and we just came back from a little trip to the outback. (And yes I've seen kangaroos:) ) It's just been really hard to upload something, since we're not sleeping in hostels but in a camper and we don't have internet access.
I hope to upload again soon!!!

Christchurch
The last post is already a long time ago, as usual. It is just so hard to find the time and place to put anything on here. Most of the days, we are at universities/companies from 9am to 5 pm, after which we go out for dinner. When we get home (usually around 9pm), I just want to go to bed.
But anyway, about the last couple of days...
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were filled with visits, so not much special happened there. We got some tours around Christchurch by our genius bus driver Terry. We also went to the Queens day party at the Dutch Embassy. It was actually quite fun, being around so many fellow Dutch persons on the other side of the world.
On Saturday, we took the ferry to the Southern Island, to go to Picton. It was really beautiful even thought the weather could have been better.
The southern Island is just beautiful, it is much much better than the Northern Island. There are these beautiful hills everywhere and sheep (of course) and everything is colored in the most gorgeous autumn colors.
Our arrival on the South Island started with a good nights rest at a tiny hostel that actually was just a large house. We made a big puzzle and just all went to bed early, tired of all the travel.
Yesterday, we went whale watching. It was so amazing! We saw two large sperm whales and we actually got to see dolphins, they are the cutest animals ever! I wish I could show you all the pictures, but unfortunately enough, the hostel we are in now doesn't allow you to upload anything.
We had a day off today, to explore the beautiful (but very much damaged) city of Christchurch. We went on a small bus tour, went to the beach, and saw some very heart breaking images. We also went to this gigantic shopping mall =) were I actually bought two pairs of shoes. After that, Kay and I cooked dinner for everyone, because we all felt we could use a normal Dutch dinner.
As I am typing this, it is 8 pm and the rest of the night is probably going to be spend by playing guitar, listening to music and reading a book.
Bye bye all!!!! I miss you !
